Environmental
management is the responsibility of all the citizens
of Tanzania. The future quality and diversity of Tanzanian
environment will depend not only on actions by the
National Environmental Management Council (NEMC) only,
but on decisions made and actions taken by each one
of us as individuals and by us collectively through
our government at local and national levels. Protecting
the environment is everyone’s responsibility.
